Work Synopsis

Most of my research was in the relatively esoteric field of flame microstrucure, studying the chemical reactions of very short lived species in flames. I published and presented numerous refereed papers and enjoyed an international reputation.

After a period of transition that involved research management, consulting and undergraduate teaching, I began practice as a psychotherapist, both in an organization and privately.

Other Than Work Activities

For a number of years I was active in the Women’s Movement in Pittsburgh, Washington, DC, Philadelphia and New York City.

I have lived and studied abroad.

Retirement

In retirement I have indulged in two lifelong but, until now, neglected interests: fine woodworking and photography. Because I am very comfortable in a school setting, both interests have been successfully pursued through programs at Santa Fe Community College as well as other educational venues.
